calendar

every year it is a big event for me to find "the calendar" or "the engagement calendar." this tradition started a long time ago. i look anywhere calendars are sold. i start seeking them out in july, but typically wait until december to actually purchase "the one." 2005 is a engagement calendar from jill bliss, a small edward gorey wall calendar & a great vintage sewing patterns wall calendar, for work.
i didn't expect to purchase one so quickly this year, but this really sang to me.

every year i anticipate transferring all birthdays, anniversaries of all sorts from the old calendar to the new calendar.

last night jan drew the calendar in her mind. this is how she visualizes the year.

july, august & september dominate her calendar. it may be because her birthday is in august.
i like how it is circular.

doesn't it make you a little crazy to have it and not be able to use it until december?

I like that circular idea, it makes sense, like the mind mapping layout. Cool.
