when i was in elementary school, we had home room mothers who would bring in cupcakes & punch when it was a classmates birthday. it seemed magical to me that all this would appear, on your birthday. and, everyone benefitted.
because my birthday is in the summer, i was never able to partake in this tradition.
i decided to bake cupcakes & bring them in to my place of employment, yolo hospice.

what kind of school was that? they are supposed to do a day at the end of the school year where they celebrate the summer birthdays. you got ripped off.
