i cannot put into words
the feeling
the memory
in the act of making as an adult
triggering the memory
the feeling
of making as a child
many years ago i made yarn art very similar to this
for my father for father's day
i had a strong impulse to make this yesterday
i forgot i had ever made such a thing
my father died june 25, 1999
