where inspiration sings from

i picked these up at a garage sale this summer. they are a little pitiful in their scrappiness. (i also purchase "damaged" animal figurines.) i think they are still inspiring. I love the embroidered work on the shelf sitter. she had felt arms to go with her felt legs at one time. i like her sturdy squareness. dotty is missing eyes & a tail. he could use more stuffing in his limbs. his small body is adorable though.
